Riddle

So here is a maths puzzle thingie mr Bellati told me. yet he won't tell me the answer and i can't figure it out! so if you know, let me know :)

You have to form the number 24 by using the numbers 1, 3, 4 and 6. they all have to be used once. you can't put them together (as in, you can't use 13 rather than 1 and then 3) and you can use * / + or -.

anyone?

Adelaide Film Festival

The Adelaide Film Festival [link] starts thursday. I am so very excited! I have never been before, which makes it even more exciting! I am getting a 5 movie pass (where you get tickets for 6 movies for $60, when each movie costs $12). The movie i am most excited about is Che. Clearly, about the life of Che Guevara. It goes for about 4 hours (yes i know!) but i think it will be good. Specially because i don't know much about his life, so it shall be very interesting :)

The Fringe is also going to start soon. Next week. I have applied to volunteer there, just waiting for a response now. I hope i get in *crosses fingers*

Another festival coming up is The Garden of Unearthly Delights (which technically is part of the Fringe) but it starts this thursday. Last year's opening party was good, so i am hopping this year will be good too.

I haven't been doing much lately. Not working much (thank god), playing 'theme park' on my nintendo DS (nerdy much) and watching season 6 of Smallville. Ha. I am very into TV series. Quite addicive really. OH OH OH season 5 (?) of Lost is out on TV. Can't wait until it comes out on DVD so i can watch it! ugh!

Oh yeah, i also got a new phone. Dad won it in a Smirnorff competition. And since he has a new phone, i got the phone. It has such a great camera! It is a Sony Ericsson C902. Very exciting.

I think that's all... i shall update this more often once i start watching all those movies ;P i should also udate my movie list... my DVD shelf is getting crowded now... need more space.

Queensland

I am back in Adelaide. That is quite good, to be honest. Not that i didn't enjoy my time in queensland, but home is always home. Plus, it is now cold here (THANK GOD!) which is totally awesome!

Anyway, i shall write a bit about the trip.
We spent the first few days in Brisbane, with Josh's brother. It was fun. We went to this hippie market they had, which was great. Gotta love hippie markets! We also did lots of shopping. And watched 'revolutionary road' which is quite a good movie! Reeeeally good acting. Odd in a way, but pretty good.
After going down to Gold Coast, we went to the theme parks *hoooray!* which was obviously the most fun i had out there. Here are some pictures of the rides we went on

In one of the parks (dreamworld i think) they had animals. And they had tigers. There were 2 little tigers walking around the park with some guys. So adorable!!! So (of course) i had to take some pictures

Here is Josh totally freaked out after going on a ride (giant drop. awesome ride!)

And me and Josh

We also went to Pacific Fair, which is apparently the biggest shopping centre in Australia. It wasn't anything special. But they had this popcorn stand where they sold flavoured popcorn! It was awesome! They had BBQ popcorn, salt and vinegar popcorn, caramel popcorn... all sorts of things! They so should have that here in Adelaide... :/

Well, i am now sunburnt and starting to peal. Ugh. But it was a good trip.
