A quick one

So today i had a legal studies assignment due. 2000 words. Awful. Obviously, i didn't have it ready UNTIL THIS MORNING. I decided not to go to my lessons and do the essay instead. Brilliant idea! I got it all done (and not badly done, honestly! it was very decent!) in 3 hours. So kudos for me!

Anyway, i decided to do a very quick post here (coz i'm tired and going to bed like NOW) just to do some movie talk (as usual). I watched 'the women' the other day. AWESOME! Such a chick flick, but so good and clever! I also watched 'burn after reading'. It wasnt bad. It was quite funny and clever. I'd say wait until it comes out on DVD tho. Also i went to an early screening of 'choke' (from a book by the same author of fight club. i got the tickets from a magazine i subscribe - filmink - which gives me a free double pass for the movie of the month every month for like and extra $10 a year! awesomely good!). It wasn't a bad movie either. Very clever story. The main guy was great, but one of the girls just didn't know how to act. I think the book would be great. I wanna read it now. But the movie was a bit average. It could have been filmed differentely.

Well that is all for now. I'm very tired. Yet very talkative and random today. It was great. I think i was on a high from finishing that essay (which was worth 45% of my mark by the way!)

Almost dead

So friday night i had to work (as usual) until 10pm. ugh. But that same day i found out there was a computer science pubcrawl, and the t-shirt was just so awesome (it had java stuff all over it!!!) that i HAD TO go. just because of the shirt. So i did. and i had such a good time (excluding all the weirdness that i shall not mention here). But i got home at 3.30am, just to find out at 9am that my sister wantd me to start work at 12. So so so bad. But i went, even tho i had a hangover, because i'm suh a great person. It was hell. I was soooo tired and seriously almost dead. I got home at like 7.30pm, ate and went to bed. This morning, i got up, ate and went to uni. And now i am home again. Still dead. Sore all over from all this walking and drinking business and lack of sleep as well. Every time i cough, it hurts. Awesome, hey?!

I don't think i have anything else new to say. So that is all :)

movieness

So i watched a few movie the other day that i can now cross out of my list.

I saw Before the devil knows you're dead which is not as good as i thought it would be. It has a good story but it is just badly done and the actors are just bad in general. I don't recommend it at all. I also saw The cottage which is REALLY good and funny and bloody and very gore like. I think it is British, and the humor is just great. You should go watch it :)

Another movie which wasn't on my list but i did want to see was Mr. Magorium's wonder emporium. It is very cute and the story is just adorable. It also has Natalie Portman, so that's a huge plus.

Well josh's party was last night. It was good. Lots of very odd and drunk people. I am now so so so tired and i might be getting a cold. Very annoying indeed.

more dvd talk

so me got bored again and decided to make a new list for this blog. since i didn't know what to blog about.
i now have a list of DVDs i own, which will keep increasing. if anyone wants to borrow any of them, feel free to ask :P i don't bite. too hard that is ;P
